Sign up for loyalty cards (CVS, Walgreens, Stop and Shop, etc.)
Download store apps
Find coupons (Local newspaper, magazines, online)
Get organized (Get a binder or whatever works for you)
Learn basic couponing rules and store policies (Print them up and put them in your binder if it helps)
Set aside time and make a list before you make your first couponing trip
